Tahoe Pictures (www.tahoepictures.com) is an independent film and television production company headquartered in Incline Village, Nevada at Lake Tahoe, focused on developing premium cinematic television and film projects inspired by the history, culture, adventure, landscapes, and larger-than-life stories of the American West.
Founded by Paul Bryant Birdwell, Tahoe Pictures was created with the vision of building original entertainment properties rooted in authentic storytelling and visually iconic locations throughout Lake Tahoe, Reno, Virginia City, the Sierra Nevada, and the broader Western United States.
The company is currently developing two flagship television series:
Tahoe Blue — a modern dramatic adventure series set around the beauty, mystery, nightlife, outdoor culture, and rugged lifestyle of Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada.
Comstock — a sweeping historical drama inspired by Virginia City and the Comstock Lode, the greatest silver strike in American history, exploring the miners, hustlers, writers, tycoons, gamblers, and visionaries who helped shape the modern American West.
Both productions have been registered with the Writers Guild of America, West, Inc., and Tahoe Pictures is currently in discussions with television studios, entertainment executives, production partners, and corporate sponsors regarding future development and production opportunities.
In partnership with the Roaring Fork Agency, Tahoe Pictures is also working with companies and brands interested in television sponsorships, product placement, experiential marketing, destination partnerships, and branded entertainment opportunities connected to its growing slate of productions.
Beyond entertainment, Tahoe Pictures is committed to showcasing the Lake Tahoe and Northern Nevada region as one of the most visually compelling production destinations in North America — combining alpine lakes, mountain landscapes, historic towns, casinos, wilderness, and Old West history within a single cinematic region.
