The Roaring Fork Agency — www.roaringforkagency.com — is excited to be working with Edible San Francisco — www.ediblesf.com — on corporate sponsorship and advertising opportunities across the San Francisco Bay Area.
Edible SF has grown well beyond the traditional definition of a food magazine. Today, the platform brings together food, restaurants, wine and spirits, hospitality, travel, culture, technology, innovation and the broader Northern California lifestyle through print, digital media, editorial storytelling and live experiences.
That creates opportunities for companies ranging from restaurants, hotels, wineries and consumer brands to financial services, insurance, technology, luxury brands and companies throughout the food and agricultural industries.
And beyond Edible SF advertising, we are currently working on sponsorship opportunities surrounding three particularly exciting event platforms: HOMEGROWN, the Perfume Dinner Series and Food Loves Tech.
HOMEGROWN — Experiential Dining in Unexpected Places
Next Event: Sunday, October 11, 2026 — San Francisco
HOMEGROWN is Edible SF's immersive grocery and farmers-market dining series showcasing chefs and cookbook authors while incorporating local ingredients, farmers, makers and food purveyors into an experiential dinner with theatrical entertainment.
Instead of simply attending another restaurant dinner, guests become part of an experience built around the food, the people who produced it and the stories behind it.
The format also has the potential to expand beyond San Francisco into markets including Los Angeles, New York and Chicago, creating an interesting multi-event and potentially multi-city platform for larger corporate partners.
Sponsorship categories include:
Food and beverage companies
Wine, spirits and liquor brands
Olive oil, spice and specialty ingredient brands
Kitchen appliances and culinary equipment
Tableware and dining/entertaining brands
Specialty retailers
Agricultural and commodity trade associations
Cookbook publishers and publishing houses
Ingredient partnerships could also be built around organizations such as agricultural commissions and producer associations, while cookbook publishers such as Penguin Random House, Ten Speed Press and HarperCollins represent another natural category.
Current HOMEGROWN sponsorship goal: $20,000–$30,000.
Perfume Dinner Series — Where Fine Fragrance Meets Fine Dining
Event Dates: January–February 2027
Edible SF is also producing a very different kind of culinary experience through its Perfume Dinner Series, a month-long scent-and-taste residency at Michelin-acclaimed Merchant Roots in San Francisco.
The concept brings together two luxury worlds that rarely intersect in this way: fine fragrance and high-end dining.
Perfumes and scents become part of a curated culinary experience, giving fragrance houses and other luxury brands an opportunity to become integrated into a memorable live event rather than simply advertising around it.
The program will also include a short-film documentary and Edible SF editorial campaign, extending the partnership beyond the restaurant and creating additional content and media value.
Like HOMEGROWN, the concept has the opportunity to expand into additional markets and locations.
Potential sponsorship categories include:
Fine fragrance and perfume houses
Champagne, whisky and luxury spirits
Reservation platforms including Resy, OpenTable, Toast Tables and SevenRooms
Luxury hotels
Luxury travel
Premium consumer and lifestyle brands
Current Perfume Dinner Series sponsorship goal: $30,000–$50,000.
Food Loves Tech — Bringing Food Innovation to San Francisco
Event Date: May 2027
The largest opportunity currently being developed with Edible SF is Food Loves Tech, coming to San Francisco in May 2027.
Food Loves Tech originally launched in New York and grew from approximately 1,500 attendees to 5,000 attendees across three editions, establishing itself as a consumer-and-trade platform focused on the future of food.
The San Francisco edition takes that foundation and adds something especially appropriate for the Bay Area: a significant technology, AI and executive-leadership component.
Rather than another traditional convention-center conference with numerous competing stages, the 2027 San Francisco program is being developed around a highly curated shared experience.
An invitation-driven executive forum will bring together the founders, corporate executives, cultural tastemakers, investors and innovators shaping the future of food.
Participants will share a central main-stage program featuring world-class keynote conversations and fireside chats before moving into focused executive studios organized around experiential innovation sectors.
The program will culminate with a Food-Tech Leadership Dinner, bringing selected leaders from across the ecosystem together as annual innovation awards are presented.
From our perspective at the Roaring Fork Agency, Food Loves Tech opens an unusually broad corporate sponsorship universe.
Potential sponsor and partner categories include:
CPG and food manufacturing
AgTech
Robotics and automation
Agriculture
Ingredient and flavor companies
Restaurant technology
Packaging and materials
Grocery and retail
Cloud computing and AI platforms
Internet and technology companies
Appliances and kitchen technology
Hospitality
Media
Universities and research institutions
Foreign trade commissions
Philanthropic food-system organizations
Arts foundations
Creative software companies
Design-led luxury brands
Current Food Loves Tech sponsorship goal: $300,000–$500,000.
For many participating companies, Food Loves Tech could also be paired with Edible San Francisco print, digital, editorial and social advertising, extending a sponsorship relationship throughout the year rather than limiting it to a single event.
Edible SF Advertising Creates the Year-Round Platform
The live experiences are exciting, but there is also a straightforward opportunity for companies that simply want to reach Edible SF's Bay Area audience through advertising.
Advertising and marketing partnerships can potentially include:
Print advertising
Digital advertising
Website presence
Newsletter promotion
Social media
Sponsored and branded content
Editorial storytelling
Photography and video
Event sponsorship
Product integration
Sampling and activation
Client and VIP hospitality
That allows us to build partnerships at very different investment levels.
A local restaurant, hotel, insurance agency or real estate firm may simply want an advertising program.
A winery or consumer-food company might combine advertising with HOMEGROWN.
A luxury hotel, spirits company or fragrance house could become involved with the Perfume Dinner Series.
A major technology, food, grocery, CPG or agricultural company could build a larger program around Food Loves Tech + Edible SF media + content + events.
The Opportunity Extends Across the Bay Area
We also believe Edible SF should be viewed as a broader Bay Area marketing platform rather than something limited to San Francisco proper.
The audience and commercial ecosystem extend throughout:
San Francisco + Oakland + Berkeley + Marin + the Peninsula + Silicon Valley + Half Moon Bay + Santa Cruz + Monterey + Carmel + Napa Valley + Sonoma County.
Those communities are tightly interconnected through food, restaurants, wine, hospitality, weekend travel and consumer spending.
A Napa winery wants San Francisco customers.
A Carmel hotel wants Bay Area travelers.
A San Francisco restaurant wants Peninsula and Marin diners.
A luxury brand may want all of them.
That is one of the reasons we see so much opportunity around Edible SF.
Let's Build Something
The Roaring Fork Agency is now talking with companies about opportunities across the entire Edible SF platform:
Edible San Francisco Advertising
HOMEGROWN — October 11, 2026
Perfume Dinner Series — January–February 2027
Food Loves Tech — May 2027
And in many cases, the best partnership may combine several of them.
